Upgrade News - IMPORTANT!
By Fastalanasa @ 2:32 PM :: 227 Views :: 0 Comments :: Website
All my efforts to upgrade this instance of DNN have failed. I don't want to fork out several hundred dollars to have somebody else do it.

My best bet right now is just to start a new DNN instance for WheelMUD. We are moving to C# and this will help keep the VB and C# stuff separate. I'm thinking of deprecating this site to http://vb.wheelmud.net and set the new site to http://www.wheelmud.net

I gotta say that the flu earlier this year, really took the wind out of my sails. I had to take a breather from WM. I think I'm finally ready to come back to working on WM. I believe that we took too many tasks at once and need to scale back. I'm going to concentrate on getting the MUD engine done. Foxedup has been working on the background and fixing things here and there.

  • Services for Programmers
  • The Future of the Code
  • Test MUDs

The new C# code base is a work in progress. It is still not developer friendly, and it is missing instructions for developers.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
